Technical

A pathway built for long-term development.

Not short-term results — a connected model from first touch to performance level.

Our Approach

Designed around the player, not the scoreboard.

Our pathway is designed around long-term player development, not short-term results. We emphasize:

  • Age-appropriate training and learning
  • Gradual progression in technical, tactical and physical demands
  • Individual development within a team environment
  • Building strong foundations before advancing to higher levels

Each stage prepares players for the next phase of their journey.

Player Journey

Clearly defined phases, one continuous journey.

Foundation Phase

U9 – U11

Fundamental skills, coordination and enjoyment of the game.

Development Phase

U13 – U15

Technical refinement, game understanding and decision-making.

Performance Phase

U17 – Senior

Tactical awareness, physical performance and competitive readiness.

This structured pathway ensures continuity and progression across all levels.

Individual Progression

Every player develops at a different pace.

Our pathway reflects that. We provide:

  • Individual Development Plans (IDPs)
  • Continuous assessment and feedback
  • Opportunities for players to move between levels when appropriate
  • Targeted support based on strengths and areas for improvement

Players are guided, but also encouraged to take responsibility for their own development.

Training & Periodization

Structured planning, session by session.

Our pathway is supported by structured planning and periodization. We ensure:

  • Weekly and seasonal training plans aligned with development objectives
  • Progressive session design from simple to complex
  • Balance between training load, recovery and performance
  • Alignment between training content and match demands

This structured approach maximizes development while reducing risk of overload.

Football Identity

One way of playing, across every age group.

Our development pathway is fully aligned with our football identity. We ensure that:

  • All players learn and apply the same principles of play
  • Coaches deliver consistent messages across all age groups
  • Development is connected from foundation to performance level

This creates a clear and unified progression model.

Player Welfare

The whole player. The whole time.

Nutritionists, sport-science staff and pastoral mentors are embedded in the program. We track sleep, recovery, mood and academic performance with the same care as passes completed.
